Obituary of Kathryn Bower

BOWER, Kathryn (Wight) 104 years, of Comber, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Albert Bower (1984). Loving mother of Carol and husband John Newey, Margaret Bower, the late Dwight Bower (2004), and Mary Ann Bower. Cherished grandmother of Judy (Andrew) Kennedy, Charlotte Bower, and great grandchildren Terry, Dakota, April, and Avery. Dearest step-grandmother of Cherie (Wayne), the late Mark, Debbie, Nick (Sharon), Mary, John (Sue), Chris, Mike and several step-great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Doug and surviving wife Fannybelle Wight, Orley Wight and mother-in-law of Gail Poissant. Kathryn was a life member of St. Andrew’s UCW. Special thanks to Dr. R. Anderson, St. Elizabeth’s, Care Partners, Fran Martin, Betty and Bill Pearson, Judy and Tom Dunlop and Nancy Bolton. Following cremation, visitation will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Comber from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016. Memorial service to commence at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
