MAILLOUX, Robert Nelson

81 years, of Belle River, formerly of Tilbury, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 4, 2021.  Beloved husband of Lucille (Marentette) Mailloux for almost 62 years.  Loving father of Mike (Georgette), Rick (Gloria), Debbie (Mike) Sullivan, and Lou Anne (Justin) Desaulniers. Predeceased by son-in-law Michael "Mikey" Gevaert.  Cherished Pépé of Mandy (Brian) Haig, Patti (Chris) Arnel, Valerie (Mike) Orendorff, Laura (Adam) Simmons, Nick (Magdalena) Mailloux, Kevin Gevaert, Brian Gevaert and 6 great-grandchildren Xavier, Sofia, Elyse, Owen, Emily, and Mila.  Son of the late Joseph and Catherine Mailloux and son-in-law of the late Wilfrid and Arthemise “Tim” Marentette. Dear brother of Ken (late Shirley) Mailloux, Geraldine (Gerry) Comartin, late Electa (late Jim) Read, Ron (Kit) Mailloux, and Larry (Jeanne) Mailloux. Brother-in-law of Alice (late Lawrence) Reaume, Norm (Theresa)(late Linda) Marentette, Rita (Marr) Huson, Gerry (Elaine) Marentette, Rene (Nancy) Marentette, Jean Paul (Sue) Marentette.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Robert and Lucille were proud owners of Bob-A-Lou Farms in Tilbury for 57 years.  Family and friends meant everything to him.  We would like to thank the VON nurses, Windsor Hospice, Paramed, and Bayshore for their compassionate care.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 1-4 and 7-9 at Visitation Parish Comber.  Due to COVID-19 regulations you must wear a mask and register to attend visitation at the following link: Visitation https://signup.com/go/OsmDQsF for call the Reaume Funeral Home at (519) 682-0110 between the hours of 9:30am to 4:40pm.
