Obituary of Ilene Doreen St. Pierre

ST. PIERRE, Ilene (nee Labonte)

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Ilene Doreen St. Pierre.  Born July 8, 1939 and entered into rest on October 10, 2021 at the age of 82.  Reaching out from heaven was the love of her life of 62 years, Billy Alfred St. Pierre.  Alongside him are her parents Noel and Ida (Charron) Labonte and her siblings Nelson, Roger (Betty), and Alice (Mort) Reaume.  Loving mother of Roger St. Pierre, Kevin (Nancy) St. Pierre, and Bruce (Denise) St. Pierre.  Cherished grandma of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Also survived by Billy's family and many nieces and nephews.  In life Ilene was an endless caretaker to both family and friends, never turning away someone in need.  She enjoyed her time at Hudson Manor as a volunteer for many years and will certainly be remembered for her kindness.  Special thank you to Dr. Colin Bryan for the years of home visits and care for both mom and dad, and the ladies at Bayshore Health Team for the consistant care, comfort and friendship you have shown our parents through this difficult time.  You are appreciated beyond words.  If heaven had a Bingo they just won the jackpot.  Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  A private funeral service will follow with burial at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury at 11:45 a.m.  Due to Covid-19 regulations you must register for visitation at the following link:Visitation or call 519-682-0110 between 9:30 a.m.and 4:30 p.m. only.  Donations to Chatham Kent Health Alliance Foundation - Cardiac Unit or Tilbury Information and Help Centre appreciated.
