82 years, of Tilbury, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Thursday, December 2, 2021.  Loving son of Oscar (2000) and Martha (2014) (Rivait) Goodreau. Much loved husband of 63 years to Eileen (Mailloux) Goodreau. Loving and caring father of Renée (Ralph) Roels, Tommy (1961), Lu-Anne (Ken) Therrien, Simone Reaume, Ken (Bernadette) Goodreau. Proud Pépé of Chantelle (Matt) Stevens, Jennifer (Mike) Moynahan, Elise (Matt) Hussey, Rachelle Goodreau (1988), Ashlynne Roels, Kenson (Michelle) Therrien, Andrew Reaume (Tammy), Andrea (Eric) Parent, Jeffrey (Lauren) Roels, Danny Reaume, Michael (Kristin) Goodreau, Rebecca (Tommy) Stines, Matthew Goodreau. Proud Pépé Rene to 15 great grandchildren and still counting. Loving brother of Alice (2020) (Alcide, 1993) Brosseau.  Rene was a dedicated life long farmer in the Tilbury area and a member of Tilbury Knights of Columbus Council Msgr. A.J. McNabb #2356 for 55 years.  Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021.  Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a private interment service at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
