Obituary of Marguerite Lillie (nee Farrell) Garlick

GARLICK, Marguerite Lillie (Farrell) February 22, 1923 – November 11, 2016 Went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 surrounded by the family who had such great love for her. Predeceased by husband William “Bill” Garlick. Beloved daughter of James Cyril Farrell (1955) and Mary Catherine (Gillman, 1975) Farrell. Loved sister of Mary McClure and Dorothy Shackleton. Predeceased by sisters Kathleen (Kitty) Hillman, Helen Breen, and brothers James Farrell, Robert Farrell, Albert “Bud” Farrell. Survived by four daughters and two sons; Mary (Maurice) Cayer, Betty (Paul) Salisbury, Ellen (Forest) Boggs, predeceased by daughter Elaine (2016) and son-in-law (Pete, 2004) Scarapicchia, Helen “Liz” (Murray) Bell, William (Ilene) Garlick, James (Elizabeth) Garlick. Predeceased by grandson William (Billy) Garlick (2012). Will be fondly missed and much loved by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. The pall bearers will be grandsons Ray Boggs, Daniel Cayer, Michael Bell, William Campbell, David Stephenson, Scott Garlick, Charles Verfaillie, and Gerald Verfaillie. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and on Monday November 14, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service to commence at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul Salisbury officiating. Interment to follow at Merlin Cemetery.
