RIVEST, Cecile Marie (nee Lajoie)

86 years, of Comber, passed away peacefully at home while in the loving care of her family, on Saturday, November 24, 2018.  Beloved wife of Edgar whom she shared 64 wonderful years..  Loving mother of Gerald (Aline Rocks), Marcel (Melanie), Linda (John) Landschoot, and Richard (Lori Dupuis).  Cherished Meme to Justin, Lynette, Johnny, Michael, Willie, Jaclyn, Nicole, Richard, Avril and Great-Meme of Madison, Avery, Evie and Charlie. Predecased by her parents William and Lorina Lajoie and all of her siblings; Bernadette (Clarence) Byrne, Rose Marie (Robert) Quenneville, Julia Lajoie, Paul (Mary Anne), Delia (Norman) Quenneville, Peter (Margaret), Joseph (Gertrude), Walter (Lena), Edna (Gilles) Dufour, Harry (Helene), Monique Lajoie, William (Nicole) and Helene Lajoie. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  Cecile cherished her family and always put them first.  Her bright blue eyes would light up a room.  She was an avid baker and a master pie maker.  Special thanks to DJ and Zeny for their wonderful care.  Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury, on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service from the funeral home on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. then to St. Francis Xavier Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.  Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.  Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.  Online condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com
