LABONTÉ, Réné

75 years, of Comber, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Monday, October 21, 2019.  Beloved husband of Linda (nee Tellier) for 52 years.  Loving father of Michelle (Harry) Wood, Shelley (Jamie) Ashley, and Michael (Tammy).  Cherished Pépé of Rachel, Andrew, and Zachary Wood, Victoria and Kassidy Ashley, and Kaden and Brennan Labonté.  Dear brother of Theresa (late Robert) Goosens, late Pauline (late Ernest) Dupuis, Joan (Marshall) Kent, and Remi (late Janet) Labonté.  Son of the late Leo and Elizabeth Labonté and son-in-law of the late Adelard and surviving wife Vivian Tellier.  Brother in law of Donald (Barb) Tellier, Sandra ( Ken Drew) (late husband Ken Morrison), Ernest (Elaine) Tellier, Karen (Dave) Cooper, Barbara (Roger) Rondot, and Diane (Laurens) Voskamp. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Réné was always an extremely hard worker and was a loyal employee of Chrysler Canada for 36 years, all while fullfilling his love for his family and farming. Cremation has taken place.  Memorial Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  Memorial donations to the Windsor-Essex County Hospice or Canadian Diabetes Association appreciated.  Online condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com
