When I played the music at Hudson Manor, for the worship service or for sing-a-longs, Louisa always had a smile and
kind word of encouragement and appreciation. I always looked forward to seeing her on my visits.

Aunt Louise you were my rock to look up too while I was growing up !!!!
Auntie you fought the good fight - You have brought so much love into the world and touched so many hearts in such a positive way - You instilled a fun loving and caring life for me to follow and to always smile with all of what life hands you - I look back to our last visit with you and the Lay Pastor came and offered communion to all of us - Judy said that you had been asking for this for some time and someone greater than all of us heard your prayers - This visit along with all of its silly moments is a memory with many other special moments I have to remember and cherish of you - You will be missed especially by your Family and by all of your extended Families including ours - You are now reunited with your Family and Friends that have gone before, and have no pain and ever living peace May God Comfort your family and give them peace, as you now enter a Eternal life with the Lord - God Bless You Aunt Louise you will ALWAYS remain in our hearts forever - Until we meet again - Love You - Art & Sue Bolduc

She sits on a throne, made all by herself.
It is not built through accumulated wealth.
Some parts tears, some broken dreams.
Others when her heart tore at the seams.
But that never defined her, it never could.
She always outweighed the bad with oceans of good.
Some parts laughs, some warm embraces.
Others are stories of family and places.
Strength and faith, a quiet inner calm.
As grandma, as sister - especially as mom.
Now it's time to ascend the stairs.
To a place with no pain, a place with no cares.
A place amongst angels a place with no fear.
We love you Louisa Riepert, you will always be near.

The greatest gift someone can give a child is their time, this is what my Grandma gave to me. A little girl from a small town going to the big city of Kitchener-Waterloo to have summer vacation with her Grandma, now that was a special time! She made me feel so good the way she took me to meet all of her friends, going to Aunt Gert's, making grand creations with poly-fill at Aunt Marie and Uncle Bill's, riding the city bus to Conestoga Mall or walking over to Waterloo Square to shop at K Mart, dinner at Mother's Pizza, having fun at Waterloo Park, going to Seagram's to show me where she had worked. The stories she loved to remember about me peeing my pants, how much money I wasted on junk for the dice game, or how I walked poorly in high heels and how horrible my hair turned out when I went to the hair school with her for my first and only perm. She was a woman who loved to tease and god forbid she knew what prize you really wanted in the dice game because she would surely steal it from you when she had the chance. You would show up at her house unannounced and she could feed an army by what she had in her fridge. To a kid she was everything you would want in a Grandma and a friend, she was light and laughter and had the purest and truest love for her grandchild (and for those lucky enough to know her). As a kid you don't know the person behind your smiling, loving Grandma, you just see who she is to you. When you learn her story, you marvel at the strength she has as an individual. You learn she is a fighter, she has endured physical and mental pain, she has faced severe hardships, she has worked hard to provide an incredible life for her children. She was not bitter she was better. You see her in a new light as you get older and hear her stories. You appreciate even more the lessons she taught you in those very special times you had together, You draw on her displays of strength as you go through your own life. I have always cherished every minute I had with this lady and carry my adoration for her always in life, those memories precious gifts that mean the world to me. I especially thank her for the absolute greatest gift she gave to me which was my Dad. It was her teachings in life that made him the incredible man he is and blessed me beyond measure with absolutely amazing memories of the life I was given. I adore this woman and I am thankful every day for all that she has given to me and to this world. As she meets my parents again I hope they are holding each other tight and hearing me when I say thank you and I love you. Rest easy Grandma and know you are home again.
