We would like to thank all the amazing doctors and nurses who helped Marie through her journey over the last few weeks, with a special mention to our superhero Matthew.

Marie worked side by side with her husband Emile for years running the family farm and raising her 5 Children.  In her early years she was employed by Heinz and the Stoney Point Canning factory.  Marie’s passion for medicine and nursing enabled her to go back to school after many years to study and become a nursing assistant, which gave her the opportunity and pleasure of working at Hudson manor and helping out at Chatham Kent hospital. Along with her nurturing love of helping people she always had a passion to travel to Aruba with family and friends, outings to the casino were a bonus and spoiling her grandkids and great grand kids with lots of hugs, kisses and candies. Although Marie and Paul met later in life, they had a love that filled the room. Many laughs and memories, their sense of humor kept everyone on their toes.  Marie was a member of the CWL for 40 years, Ladies of St Anne, the Lioness Club, and will be remembered by locals for her carrot cake and meat pies.

Friends and Family will be received at Visitation Parish Church, 5407 Comber Side Road July 10th from 3:00-7:00PM (Prayers at 6:30PM with Father Roy) and July 11th from 9:30-10:30AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM by Father Paul at Visitation Parish.  Burial to follow at Annunciation Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Care Unit or Renal Dialysis Fund are greatly appreciated. https://www.wrh.on.ca/WRHFoundation
