Obituary of Earla Jean Zemmicky

ZEMMICKY, Earla (nee Frankfurth)

90 years, of Tilbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Tilbury Manor. Daughter of the late Clifford and Beatrice (nee McDonald) Frankfurth. Predeceased by her  husband George Zemmicky for 72 years. Beloved mother of Larry (Barb) Zemmicky and Kerri (Conrad) Mitchell. Devoted Grandmother of six and Great Grandmother of five. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of the late Glen, Lloyd, Kelly, Marie, Genevieve, June, Ursula, and Donna. Earla worked at Hunts and retired as an administrator from Rockwell after 35 years.  Earla and George loved taking care of their garden and going for drives and out to dinner.  Special thank you to the staff of Tilbury Manor and Dr. Bryan for all their care and compassion. 

Visitation will be held at Reaume Funeral Home Inc. 6 Canal Street West, Tilbury on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. C.W.L. Prayers will be at 2:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 2:30 PM with a C.W.L Honour Guard at St. Francis Xavier Church, 32 Canal Street West, Tilbury. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Comber. Services will be officiated by Fr. Terrance Runstedler. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society are appreciated.
