Obituary of Ernest Joseph Soulliere

Ernest “Ernie”, “Jr.” Joseph Soulliere

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ernie Soulliere announce his peaceful passing, surrounded by his loving family on Friday June 14th, 2024 at Erie Shores Hospice, Leamington at the age of 68. Beloved husband of 35 years to Cheryl (nee Noe). Much loved father of Jamie & Angela of Pain Court, Michael & Erica of Belle River and Ryan & Rebecca (Keating) of New Castle, Australia. Proud Pepe of Bryce, Wesley & Spencer. Son of the late Ernest & Irene (nee Marchand). Predeceased by Cheryl’s parents, Betty Gale (nee Wilkins) & Kermit Noe. Brother of the late Raymond (surviving Margaret), Girard (Gerry) & Lorraine, Marian & Regis Masse, William (Nancy Taylor), Margaret & Charlie Mailloux and the late Madeleine Silverman. Survived and cherished Uncle Ernie to many nieces and nephews. Ernie was born on January 30th, 1956 at home in Coatsworth before moving to the family farm in Comber. Ernie learned his hard work ethic from working on the farm. Ernie was a proud truck driver for many years, driving for many local companies throughout his career. If you knew Ernie, you knew that he loved hunting and the Maple Leafs. He was always angling to get out to the bush to shoot..

The family would like to thank the PSW’s from Bayshore & Paramed Windsor/Essex for their care over the past few years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., Tilbury from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Visitation Parish Church, Comber from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m..
