Record will show Mr. Hasiuk taught me High School physics, chemistry, geometry, and marine biology. But for a rowdy teenager, he became a sense of calm, trustworthiness, and direction. Mr. H didn't push for obsolete grading systems, his focus was always to get the best out of us, and me. I trusted him like a father at school and he helped me through many personal and academic turmoils. In an age where men are being asked to reinvent their roles and identities in society, Mr. H leaves us with a template of a man we can all strive to be. We all have to go one day, but the aim should always be to be remembered like Borden Hasiuk.
