Anne Chauvin

Obituary of Anne Chauvin

CHAUVIN, Marguerite

Marguerite “Anne” (nee Glasier) Chauvin of Tilbury, passed away
peacefully at Chatham Hospital (CKHA) on Monday, September 6,
2021 at the age of 93. At the time, Anne was listening to her favourite
music with her daughter Shirley holding her hand, and daughters
Linda and Joyce and granddaughter Kim at her side through
FaceTime.

Anne was born to a large family and was the twelfth of thirteen
children: Ida, Clarence, Clifford, Gordon, Irene, Eva, Agnes,
Raymond, Henry, Victor, Bill, and Morris (deceased).
She met the love of her life, Harry, and they began their beautiful life
together that spanned an amazing 59 years. They had three
daughters during their early years of marriage: Linda (Jim -
deceased), Joyce (Ross) and Shirley (Paul) and enjoyed family life to
its fullest.

Anne took pride in the successes of her grandchildren: Kim (David),
Keith (Nicole), Stephen (Zoe), Laura (Nicholas), and Jimmy (Nina).
She treasured her special relationships with her great-grandchildren
Nicole, Adriana, August and her newest joy, baby Eden. Anne loved
her godchildren, and all her nieces and nephews. She truly cherished
her family, both immediate and extended.
Anne spent her last seven years enjoying her time at the Grand
Retirement Village in Chatham. She took pleasure chatting with the
staff and residents and was passionate about playing cards, and
dancing at their socials.

Her passing has left an immeasurable void in our hearts and lives.
She will be forever missed and always remembered.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Ricketts and the Chatham-Kent Family
Health Team, as well as the staff at the Grand Retirement Village for
all the care and support she received over the years.
Memorial donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated (this
terrible disease took her soulmate from her 15 years ago). Online
condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com
A private family funeral mass will be held in Tilbury.
