MAILLOUX, Rene Joseph

94 years of Stoney Point, passed away at Erie Shores Health Care in Leamington, on Monday, September 20, 2021.  Beloved husband of Helene Mailloux (Pinsonneault).  Loving father of Gerard (Marlene), Maurice "Moe" (Louise), Suzanne, and Lisa Caza.   Cherished grandfather of Moe Jr. (Rheanne), Marc (Sandra), Stephen (Hannah), Bryan, Allan (Melissa), Beau, Katya, Misha.  Loving great-grandfather to 10 lovely great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Jeannette Leboeuf (late Robert Leboeuf)(late George Allard), Blaise (Juliette) Mailloux, and the late Adelard Mailloux, late Raymond (Geraldine) Mailloux, late Rena (Leo) Comartin, late Richard (Anita) Mailloux, and late Edgar (surviving wife Alice) Mailloux.  Brother-in-law to Raymond (Eleanor) Pinsonneault, Charles (Dorothy) Pinsonneault, and the late Louis (surviving wife Rosella) Pinsonneault, late Angela Pinsonneault, late Claire (Etienne) Roy, late Alice Pinsonneault, late Richard (Angele) Pinsonneault, the late Rosabelle (Jean Maurice) Charlebois, and late Marie (Roger) Pinsonneault.  His joyous laughter will be fondly remembered by so many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Rene worked for Chrysler Canada for 33 years and was retired for 37 years.  He was a lifetime member of the Knight's of Columbus Branch 8783, a member of the Stoney Point Sportsman's Club as well as a member of Le Club D'age D'or. Due to COVID-19 regulations per Essex County Health Unit a private Funeral Mass will be held at Visitation Parish Church, Comber by invitation only and there will be no receiving line allowed.  Those invited by the family must have proof of Vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 rapid test within 48 hours of the time of the Funeral Mass.  Memorial donations to Suzanne Mailloux's women's shelter "Mary Rose Shelter" in Brazil appreciated.  Donations can be e-transferred to or cash donations will be collected at the church or at the funeral home.  Arrangements entrusted to Reaume Funeral Home Inc., Tilbury.
