Obituary of Evelyn Marie Ann Montpetit
MONTPETIT, Evelyn Marie Ann (Bagnell)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my wife Evelyn after a courageous battle with cancer and five strokes, at the age of 86. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Charles after 67 years of marriage. Loving mother of Annette (Richard) Cornell, Charles Jr. (Denise) Montpetit, Michelle (Denis) Quenneville, David (Pam) Montpetit, Marc (Nathalie) Montpetit.
She was predeceased by her parents Horace and Eveline (Bechard) Bagnell. Loving sister of the late Anne 2009 (Jerry 2019) McDonnell, Herbert (2018)(surviving wife Theresa), Eileen (2006) (Edward 2010) Crosby, Angela Bagnell (1955). She was a proud Grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League. Evelyn and Charles enjoyed many years of travelling in their motor home to the warm weather of Florida, Arizona, Texas and Mexico. In the summer they visited all the provinces and Alaska.
Funeral visitation will be held at Reaume Funeral Home Inc. on June 13th 2022 from 2PM – 5PM and 6PM - 8PM. Funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church on June 14th 2022 at 11:00AM followed by Interment at St. Francis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Francis Xavier Church Building Fund appreciated. Memories can be shared at www.reaumefh.com.
