Comartin, Derek Roger

Tragically taken from his family and friends on August 30, 2022 at the very young age of 27 year old alongside his soulmate Stephanie Lee Imeson. Caring and loving son of Roger Comartin (Joyce Williamson), and Karen Comartin. Loving baby brother to Alexis (Dylan and son Camden) Ives. Cherished grandson of the late Lucille & and the late Wilfred Comartin and Jerry and the late Mary Pardy.  He will also be missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends

Derek was the most caring, giving, humorous and spontaneous young man around. He was fortunate enough to find his true love at such a young age. Derek and Steph were inseparable since the day they met and had many common interests. They loved their four-legged friends more than anything (Pigs; Stella, Wilbur and Lilly. Dogs; Emmy and Rue). They were always down for new adventures that brought them closer to nature, they even were considering moving off grid.  Derek loved the farm life and pursued it in his career working at Ewe Dell farms. He loved anything with a motor, dirtbikes, four wheelers, trucks you name it. His family was the most important thing to him, and Derek was always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed.  Derek will be forever in our hearts and so very missed. We will cherish and treasure every wonderful memory we have.

Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Funeral service at Visitation Parish Church, 5407 Comber Sideroad, Comber on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow.  A private family interment will follow at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society, CK Animal Rescue or PAWS are appreciated.
