Obituary of Dennis Eugene Joseph Giroux

GIROUX, Dennis

76 years of Chatham, formerly of Tilbury, passed away peacefully at CKHA on Sunday, January 8, 2023.  Beloved husband of Donna (nee Lee).  Loving father of Jeanette Giroux and Jill Giroux.  Predeceased by parents Lorraine and Edward Giroux.  Dear brother of the late Eugene (1998)(surviving wife Cecile (Gallerno) (Jim) Charron, Louis (Mary Frances) Giroux, late Paul Giroux (2008), late Francis Giroux (2009), Joanne (Dayl) Stout, and Lorrie (Edgar) Bulley.  Son-in-law of the late William and Irene Lee.  Brother-in-law of Carol Lee, Win Grainger, John Lee, and Brian (Sandy) Lee.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Dennis was a retired teacher from the Essex County Separate School Board.  Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury, on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, January 13 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  Knights of Columbus Council #2356 prayers Thursday at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral Service from the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation https://www.classy.org/give/214048/#!/donation/checkout or St. Francis Xavier Church Building Fund appreciated.  Online condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com
