Obituary of Shirley Ann Blair

BLAIR, Shirley Ann (Nee Gardiner)

87 years, of Jeannette's Creek. Born May 30, 1935.

It is with heavy hearts we sadly announce the passing of our mom on January 10, 2023.  Loving wife of Rene (2008) with whom she spent 56 years of marriage.  Loved mother of Renée (late Bob) Serruys, Keith Blair, Kevin (Sylvie) Blair,  and Melanie (Marcel) Rivest.  Cherished grandma to grandchildren; Desirée (Marty), Steve (Tara), Bryant (Megan), Justin (Nathalie), Lynette (Sean) and great grandchildren; Sadie, Abree, Harper, Ella, Breya, Alasdair, and McKenna.  Daughter of the late Archie and Bessie Gardiner.  Sister of the late Maxine Gardiner, Joyce (late LeeRoy) Taylor, Pat (late Mervyn) Quiding, Richard (Patricia) Gardiner, late Archie Gardiner and the late Catherine Gardiner.  

Shirley (mom) was a true Matriarch, happiest when all her chicks were all around her.  She loved to debate anything. Since she loved to read she was well informed on many topics.  Camping was a hobby she enjoyed for many years with Rene. 

Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury, on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 3-6 p.m.  Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Church on the Thames on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
