Obituary of Rose Marie Lang

LANG, Rose Marie

May 23, 1930 - January 23, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Rose Marie Lang (nee Keller), at the age of 92.  Rose passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday, January 23, 2023.  Rose was the beloved wife of the late Joseph (2015).  She was the loving mother of the late Leo (2022), Phil (Penny), Barbara (Byron), Larry (Carol) and Joe (Brigitte).  Rose leaves behind her adored grandchildren; Ian (Samantha), Lance (Colette), Tyler, Jeffrey, Andrea (Randy), Joel (Jayme Leigh), Kyle (Kaitlyn), Jesse, Mitchell (Kristin), and Natalie (Matt).  Great Grandmother of Meghan (Joe), Colin (Amanda), Cadence, Nolan (Michelle), Aly, Brennan, Aleka, Makayla, Lily, Harvey, Remi, Teagan, Nora and Aubrey.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  Rose helped run the farm operation near Tilbury with her husband Joe, where they raised their family.  Retirement saw them enjoying many winters in Florida.  Rose was a devout member of the Catholic Women's League.  She enjoyed reading and doing any kind of word puzzles.  Bingo and cards were her favorite activities.  She enjoyed the music and entertainment at Hudson Manor where she resided for the last eight years.  Thank you to the staff and the friends that she made there.  Also, thank you to the doctors and nurses at CKHA, Progressive Care 2nd Floor for your kindness and compassion during her time there.  We will all miss her and there are many loving memories we will cherish forever. 

Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. with funeral to follow at St. Francis Xavier Church, 32 Canal St. W., Tilbury.  Internment to follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury.
