Obituary of Doreen Marion Earle

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Doreen Earle (nee Montminy) at the age of 89, at Erie Shores Hospice, on Saturday, February 18, 2023.  Doreen is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Douglas Earle, children; Barbara (Gordon Harwood), Sharon (Douglas LeBow), Richard (Sandra), and Susanne, her brother Alfred (Doreen) and sister Madeleine (Paul Wilson), as well as nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by her brothers Gabriel (Irene), Omer (died at 2 years old), Henry (Helen)(Jean), Gerald (Maxine), William Jr., Jean (Jean), Rene (Alice) and sisters Margaret (Edward Leboeuf), Agnes (Donald Rivait) and Rita (Henry Dufresne). 

After retirement, Doreen enjoyed volunteering, especially making quilts for veterans with "Quilts of Valour", and as a friendly visitor at Tilbury Manor.  Her family was always her first priority and she will be tremendously missed.

Thank you to the staff at Leamington Hospital and especially Erie Shores Hospice for their kindness and compassion during Doreen's final days.  A special thank you to Doreen's niece Julie Hamlin.

Visitation on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 32 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. with Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m.  A private interment will follow at a later date at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Erie Shores Hospice would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com
