Obituary of Michael Louis Joseph Gagnier

GAGNIER, Michael Louis Joseph

October 15, 1958 - August 29, 2023

Michael always said and lived by: "Family comes first, you help when you can, no questions asked, no regrets."

Proud and long time resident of Staples and member of the First Lutheran Church, Windsor.  Loving husband to Helen (nee Petermann) for 39 years.  Proud father of Justin Gagnier, Joshua Gagnier (Jessica Posloski), and Jordan Gagnier (Samantha Martinelli).  Beloved grandpa of Madison Claire Gagnier.  Dear son of Jeannette Gagnier (Ron Newsted) and the late Egile Gagnier (1990).  Brother of Aurele (Francyne) Gagnier, Jerome (Christine) Gagnier and Claudette (Tom) Thibert.  He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Michael was retired from General Motors after 30 years of service and was a long time farmer in Staples.  

Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. and on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 160 Giles Blvd., Windsor with Funeral Service to commence at 11:00 a.m.  A private Interment will follow.  Donations to First Lutheran Christian Academy, 3850 Locke Street, Windsor, Ontario, N9G 1S1 will be appreciated by the family.
