Obituary of Micheline Marie Pauline Lemay

LEMAY, Micheline Marie Pauline

passed away on October 9, 2023 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, surrounded by family.  Beloved daughter of the late Rose-Ange (nee Massicotte)(2019) & Omer Lemay (2018), Cherished mother of Michael (Holly) Demers, late Sylvia Banner (2021), and Jesse Banner.  Loving grandma of Dakota Demers, Malakia, Rowan and Skylah-Mae Banner.  Sister to Daniel Lemay (Carol), Serge (Shelly) Lemay, Jocelyn (Helen) Lemay,  Linda Lemay, Paul Lemay (June), Joanne (John) Turton and (late) Sylvia Lemay.  Step-Sister to Omer Jr., David and Caroline.  She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. 

Micheline was known for her caring and unselfish nature.  She was a strong independent woman who fought for her children and those she cared about.  She loved with her whole heart, expecting nothing in return.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends as she joins her daughter Sylvia and her mom in heaven.

The family wants to thank her special friend Fred Butler for all his care and compassion over the years, from driving her to all her many appointments, to dealing with her 90-day fiance marathons, and caring for her from morning to night.  Our love and appreciation is immeasurable.

Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury, on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 1:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with Funeral Service starting at 7:00 P.M. with visitation to continue after.  Entombment at St. Francis Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
