Obituary of Bessie Adora Garbutt

GARBUTT, Bessie Adora (nee Lyon)

92 years, of Tilbury, passed away at Tilbury Manor on Thursday, October 19, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Garnet Taylor (1963) and William Garbutt (1989).  Loving mother of Bonnie Wied, Karen Taylor, Joyce Taylor, Laurie (Kirk) Lebert, and  the late Garnet (1971).  Cherished grandma of Corrie Taylor, Ian McNab, Audrey Alfaro, Jordon Wied, Kelly (Joe) Stonehouse, Renee Kimbrough, Jason Taylor, Kyle Lebert, and Courtney Lebert and nine great-grandchildren.  Sister of the late Clyde (late Helen) Lyon.  Bessie was a cook at the Blue Bonnet Restaurant in Tilbury for many years.  Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Tilbury at a later date.
