Obituary of Ronald Alfred Labute

LABUTE, Ronald

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ronald Alfred Labute on Saturday, May 25, 2024.  After a hard battle of illness, he passed away peacefully with his children by his side.  Ronald was the husband of the late Antoinette "Tony" (Bourdeau, 2004).  Loving father of sons George Labute, Mike Labute (Anne) and daughter Jody Kearns (John). Tilbury. Proud grandfather of Alycia (Donnie) , Kaitlyn (Jordan), Tanya (Jeff), Josh (Halie), Melissa (Cam), Derrick, and Nicole (Dylan).  Great grandfather of 13 beautiful grandchildren.  A special companion to Mathea.  Ron will be missed by his realtives, friends, and the many Tilbury residents that grew to know his charm while walking his dog around town.  Ron loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, exploring nature and birds.  Teaching his kids and grandkids to explore nature was one of his favourite past times. Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Funeral service from the funeral home Thursday, May 30 at 10:30 a.m. then to St. Francis Xavier Church, Tilbury for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury. Donations to Windsor Regional Cancer Center or Alzheimer's Society appreciated.
