Obituary of Doreen Marchand

Marchand, Doreen Lillian Therese

Passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024 at Windsor Regional Hospital at the age of 94 years.  Reunited with her loving husband Gerard (2003).  Loving and devoted mother of Greg (Regina) and Neil (Peggy) Marchand. Doreen was the cherishec Memere to 4 grandchildren; Tim, Jason, Beth (1989) and Michael (2007) and 2 greatgrandchildren; Jacob and Cameron.  Predeceased by her parents; Leo and Lillian Murray, her sister; Anne Dawe; and her brother Joseph Murray.  Doreen was a loving wife, mother, Memere, and loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Her passion was teaching and she held many positions in the City of Windsor.  On retirement Doreen and Gerard enjoyed their time at their trailer on Lake St. Clair, trips to Florida and Hawaii, as well as enjoying time with their grandchildren.  Special thank you to the staff of Seasons Amherstburg and the care of Dr. Danielle Soulliere and the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital.  Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home Inc., 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury on Saturday June 15, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. with Funeral Service at 4 p.m.  Interment at St. Columban Cemetery, St. Columban, Ontario on Wednesday June 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex.  Online condolences may be shared at www.reaumefh.com
