Obituary of Robert Vernon Young

With great sorrow we announce the passing of Robert Vernon Young. Dedicated and loving husband for 70 years to Daisy (nee Goodman). Father of Kathy Corriveau, Robert (Michelle), William (Maureen), Linda Young, Jack (Vicki), and Debbie Baker. Predeceased by daughter Sandy Edburg (2000) and son James (2007) (surviving wife Carmen). Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Vern as he was known by many, served in the medical corps in the RCN during WWII. He worked for several years at GM in Windsor until his retirement. He will be remembered for his love of barber shop music by his family and friends. As per Vern’s wishes cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers or cards memorial donations to the Lung Association or charity of choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrust to Paul Reaume Funeral Home – Comber.
