Obituary of Rachel Marie Lesperance

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our wife, mother and Meme on Friday January 19, 2018 at 81years of age. Cherised wife of 63 years to Sylvio Lesperance. Beloved mother of Sherryl (Rob) Spring, Rory (Vicki) Lesperance, Sylvio Jr. (Sue) Lesperance and Renee (Gordon) Marentette. Proud Meme of Steven (Krystal) and Jeremy (Katie)Deschamps, Carrie, Michael (Lindsey) and Christopher(Irenae) Lesperance, Justin, Shawna, Samantha Lesperance and Ethan Marentette. Great Meme toTyler, Dustin, Lucy, and Rory. Predeceased by her parents Marie and Wilfred Laporte, her sister Carmel,and her brother Richard. Loving sister to Felix (Shirley) Laporte, Paulette (late Dan) Drynck, Elaine (Donald) Thibert, Denise (Laporte) (late Mickey). Dear sister in-law to the late Bob Lesperance (Jan),late Don and Ruth Ann Lesperance, and the late Angela and Baron Leperance. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Rachel enjoyed winters in Florida, playing golf, bingo, casino trips with her dear friend and relaxing with her steadfast, loving, husband Sylvio at their home on the lake. Family and friends will be received at Visitation Parish Church, Comber on Tuesday January 23, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with a memorial Mass commencing at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Erie Shores Hospice would be gratefully appreciated.
