Bell, John

75 years, of Tilbury, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 24, 2018.  Beloved husband of Irene (nee Ryckman) for 52 years.  Loving father of Charlotte (Dave) Hutchings and Sean Bell.  Devoted grandfather of Elizabeth Hutchings.  Dear brother of Donald (Linda) Bell.  Son of the late Archibald Lachlan and Mildred (nee Catlack) Bell.  Nephew of Josephine (Gerald) Vanexen.  Brother-in-law of Rose Ryckman (Harold Want), Frances (Art, 2011) Hearns, Dorothy (Ken) Ivison, Jim Ryckman, Kathryn (Ray) Want, and Fred (Pat) Ryckman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  John retired from Chrysler Canada after 35 years and was a life time resident and farmer in Jeannette's Creek.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing in the Gravenhurst area, playing UNO with granddaughter Elizabeth (his little sweetie), and playing cards at the Tilbury Liesure Centre.  He also enjoyed spending the summers at his trailer in Grand Bend.  Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Ashley's Place 75 Queen St. N.
